Note:
Total No. of Vehicle Licence Issued refers to the total number of vehicle licences issued to vehicle owners in Brunei Darussalam. However, the figures does not reflect the number of active vehicles as vehicle licences are issued based on its usage i.e. commercial vehicles are required to renew their vehicle licence every six (6) months.
Active Vehicles refers to vehicles in Brunei Darussalam whose vehicle licence have been renewed and are active on the road.
Newly Registered Vehicles are vehicles, either new or imported used, that are registered for the first time in Brunei Darussalam. These does not include used vehicles that have been registered in Brunei Darussalam that has been transferred or sold to another party.
Registered Vehicles refers to all vehicles that have been registered in Brunei Darussalam including licensed, unlicensed and off-road vehicles.
